yum. doubly. Posted by Hello

so i baked this. it's banana cranberry bread. it's delicious.

i got the recipe HERE. it's a rad site.. it has a lot of really tasty looking food and easy to follow recipes.. (except the whole converting the measurements thing. but it has a section where it does it for you. it's just separate from the recipes themselves)

i've just been in the mood for baking. and i've found it to be pretty easy. maybe i take after my mom in that way. she's a good cook. i guess "take after" would not necessarily be the right term. i learned that from her. i don't think i inherited the cooking trait. or whatever.

anyway. so far i've made a chocolate cake from scratch. (which could've been better. but i know how it could've been better, and it was pretty good despite the not so good frosting i put on the top. and then the whole "accidentally leaving the pan it was sitting on, on a burner on the stove that was on for about ten mintues or something and melting the frosting and making it all kind of weird" thing. that made it less than perfect. ha.

and then the banana cranberry bread. which was really good. especially right out of the oven. yum times a hundred.

so. if ya'll have any recipes. send them.
