a good kid

bad light. good face. Posted by Hello

is it rude to post pictures of your friends? i guess i can just not name any names.

let me just say, i love this kid. he's radical. there is a lot boiling under the surface that we may never get to hear about. mostly because he rambles on and floats from one thing to another. when i moved away from idaho, i missed him. it was good to see him over the weekend i was back up there.

(i was looking around for another photo to post, and i wanted to see how this one, however grainy, would look.. i guess that's what i get for bad lighting and no flash on the ol' camera.)

i got a $5 tip today from a stranger.. a lady needing coffee badly.. it's hard to get annoyed at people coming up to the cart at closing time. much more difficult than at the full fledged coffee shop.. especially since my current customer base is made up of people who are needing to see doctors, family of people who are needing to see doctors and people who work for doctors.. they pull at my heartstrings.. it's hard to not want to help someone who's been sitting in the doctor's office all day.. for hours and hours and hours.. only to receive bad news or sometimes no real news at all.. so i made her coffee.. i gave her bagels and cream cheese.. i was kind and polite.. and she paid me for it.. ha..

my folks are in the big city.. to hear their descriptions of my sister's hip neighborhood, it makes me want to go.. i want to be a hipster.. hehe.. well. not really... ok. maybe kind of.. i want to be a brooklyn hipster, but not with all of the other hipsters. i want to be an original hipster.. ha..

i wish i was cool. and hip. like the dude pictured above.

This is a very nice photo. I think atmosphere of the image, the grainy look, matches perfectly with the subject. A more techincally perfect image might take away from the story the photo tells.
