surprise!

another photo of the rat. she's actually in the top drawer space of my chest of drawers.. i lost the drawer in the move from idaho after i graduated. hazel climbed up there, somehow, and commenced chewing and exploring. she's really a monkey disguised in a rat suit, i think.

i've been riding my bike to work on tuesdays and thursdays.. this means i have to leave my house at six thirty a.m. and wear gloves.. this means i get to see the beginning of the day as i pedal along with the wind in my hair..

but this also means i have to ride my bike home at the end of my ten hour work day.. against the wind.. with five o'clock traffic..

but i think it's worth it.
